Panzerotto Barese


It is prepared in Bari, it is easy to come across streets impregnated with the scent of frying especially in the evening, when they prepare panzerotti in bakeries, bars, rotisseries, pizzerias and private homes.

with unusual and original ingredients: onion, turnips, cheese and pepper, mortadella, provolone, brasciola, gorgonzola, and even Nutella!

The Apulian tradition wants the panzerotto to be eaten on the street, but be careful. The risk is always to get dirty, but also to burn yourself, since the filling is usually hot.

it is accompanied by an ice cold beer.
